Ellis came to me in a bit of a pickle as her previous website host had locked her out of her website and wanted to charge her an extraordinary amount of money just to access it again. We decided it was better for her to cut her losses and invest in someone she trusted.
I was able to build her website within a fortnight, fully designed to her brand guidelines and launched before she needed to pay another penny to her previous developer.
Ellis now owns her own website, and pays me for her annual domain and hosting only.

project scope: Digital Marketing for Electrical Testing UK

I work in-house with Electrical Testing UK as a freelancer one day per week. From there I manage all of their Social Media Accounts including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn on their native scheduling programs. I also write, design and send all of their emails through HubSpot and have written all of their content for their new website.
I co-ordinate all of their marketing content so that it is cohesive throughout the internet and in person, and provide a robust output that is receiving great results. I form a monthly marketing strategy and then communicate via the group WhatsApp chat to get images and videos of work from employees. I then edit those images, write the captions and where possible turn them into SEO ready blog posts also.
This then feeds into our monthly newsletter, along with advertising key services.
Another vital role I play for Electrical Testing UK is gathering leads from LinkedIn, I collect and forward an average of 15 qualified leads per month to their Sales Director to be contacted and turned into sales.

Caroline’s existing provider was closing down and as such, her website was going to be taken offline with no way of transferring it elsewhere. As her client’s use her website to book in online alongside a lot of information that needs to be shared with her customers – it was vital that we got a new website live and functioning in just over a month (and over Christmas, no less).
Luckily her existing website was still live and I have been managing the Social Media for John & Associates since 2019, so I knew the services I was to write about. However I was able to confirm the design within a week and complete the entire build well inside our timeframe, taking the pressure off of Caroline to have everything transferred for a smooth transition for everyone.

I took over the email marketing for The Food Heroes and whilst sadly do not have the charts to show the statistics, I’m glad I made a note of them!
Their previous provider was sending blanket PDFs with no clickable elements or links, which was ending up in the majority of our segment’s spam folder.
I designed a flowing, branded email using Flodesk (always my preferred Newsletter Platform) with links to the appropriate Sales Team Members, areas of our website and most importantly – text written within the body of the email as opposed to on an uploaded PDF.
The results do speak for themselves, we even received phone calls to say that they never usually get our emails and now they were landing in a client’s inbox which prompted them to make an order.

Russ runs a garage he inherited, along with many processes and ways that things had ‘always been done’. During my time employed at Drayton Motors I handled the marketing throughout their acquisition so I was ready for a similar challenge with Billingborough Cars & Commercials.
We use many new tactics, including Reels and speaking directly to the camera – but we also remember the roots of the business and speak often about it’s continued values and levels of service.
The community aspect is pushed hard as it’s a small local business and relies on the surrounding villages to support it, so we also utilise Facebook Groups where appropriate.
